Testing Department Vice Manager — Job Details

Job Description

• Ensure the technical capability of the Testing Department consistently meets customer requirements, regulatory authority standards, and ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Decide on technical matters within the Testing Department (halting or resuming operations, stopping or redirecting the use of equipment and chemicals, withholding reports, recalling test result reports, etc.).
• Inspect and supervise testing activities performed by staff members.
• Report and advise leadership on technical matters.
• Review test results prior to submitting them to the Head of Testing Department for approval.
• Organize the implementation of new testing methods.
• Conduct sample testing as assigned by the Head of Testing Department.
• Participate in the inspection, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate with and support the Head of Testing Department in activities related to the department's testing quality.
• Act on behalf of the Head of Testing Department to resolve relevant matters during their absence.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or other equivalent majors.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of laboratory testing scopes, method validation, measurement uncertainty estimation, etc.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in food testing, water/environmental testing, or related fields, including 2 years in an equivalent position at an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in office computer applications.
• Language Proficiency: Good command of technical English.

Chromatography Department Head — Job Details

Testing Department Staff — Job Details

Job Description

• Receive and process testing samples; prepare experiments, operate analytical methods, and directly utilize equipment such as HPLC, LC-MS/MS, UPLC, GC-MS, AAS, ICP-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, etc.
• Perform physicochemical testing on sample matrices within assigned professional scopes.
• Manage, maintain, and monitor the condition of equipment and measuring tools; carry out calibration in accordance with regulations within assigned responsibilities.
• Record, archive, and maintain complete and accurate laboratory records and logbooks in compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality management system.
• Participate in developing, updating, and improving technical procedures, as well as developing and validating new test methods.
• Execute other tasks as assigned by the Department Head.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Graduated in a relevant field suitable for the applied position (Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related majors).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a laboratory, with preference given to candidates who have worked in an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory.
• Skills & Knowledge: Solid understanding of laboratory safety regulations, careful and precise operational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
